A simple serial tool for Linux —- picocom

  1. Install sudo apt install picocom

  2. How can get the serial driver ID? dmesg | grep ttyS* Then replug the serial device. You can see usb 2-2.1:pl2303 converter now attached to ttyUSB0 Your serial device ID is ttyUSB0.

  3. Connect the serial device sudo picocom -b 115200 /dev/ttyUSB0

  4. Other instructions

*** [C-b] : Set baudrate
*** [C-u] : Increase baudrate (baud-up)
